Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Caldzy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and have authority to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Caldzy on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Caldzy to sync calendar feeds you do not have permission to access.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
• Abuse the sync infrastructure (e.g., polling a single feed at machine-generated high frequency via the API).

5. iCloud credentials

You are responsible for generating and safeguarding your Apple app-specific password. We recommend revoking and regenerating your app-specific password if you believe it has been compromised. Caldzy is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Syncs may be delayed or fail due to network issues, Apple CalDAV availability, or scheduled maintenance.

7. Paid features

Caldzy may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions. All purchases are subject to the Apple App Store terms. We do not process payment information directly.

8. Disclaimers

Caldzy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for missed events, incorrect times, or any loss arising from sync failures or inaccurate calendar data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time; deleting your account removes your data per our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
